When you have a regular decline in a store, are they hit with any kind of fee after, if the cardholder even realises about the attempt and speaks with bank? If not, are they notified of an attempted fraud? Anyone with knowledge please explain this more.

it depends of the payment processor.
Some payment processors kill cards because their pre authorazation just try to charge the card and bank is notified about an attempted fraud when card balance is not ebough.
Others just try to get authorization without charge and if card not have enough money, they reply by a decline

Thanks, so if the transaction does not go through, will the bank contact the store saying that the transaction was a fraud attempt? This is interesting, because if they do not you could come back anytime to hit them again.

Every transaction leave a trace If you get decline few times thats ok But if you do it every day then some one will look at those transactions.

Yeah I dont do everyday in same store, just want to make sure whether I wasted a store over a simple decline
