Chakra - literally translated from Sanskrit means "circle", "wheel" or "disc". In the context of yogic practices, this word is often translated as "vortex", which reflects the idea of chakras as vortices of psychic (cosmic, vital) energy - "prana".

In spiritual practices, chakra is one of the centers of power and consciousness located in the inner (subtle) bodies of a person. In addition to Hinduism, the concept of chakras is used in some systems of Buddhism and especially Tantra and Yoga, in many modern occult systems and in esotericism. Chakras are also mentioned in Islam.

The concept of the existence of chakras is characteristic of traditional Indian medicine and some other types of alternative medicine, however, modern sciences, in particular biology and medicine, believe that there are no physical or physiological structures in the human body with which chakras could be identified. However, this is not surprising, because biology and modern medicine investigate only the PHYSICAL body, while the chakras are not the organs of the physical, but the etheric body. These are bunches of just aetheric energy ...

Traditionally, there are seven chakras in the human body, although in fact there are much more of them. However, now we are interested in exactly the seven main chakras, with which you will have to work.

The chakras are located along the spinal column and form something like a centralized energy system that coordinates and controls the entire body. Chakras are localized in space and correspond at the physical level to the areas of the main nerve plexuses - ganglia. The presence of certain diseases in a person or their absence depends on how well this or that chakra functions.

Each chakra takes a strictly defined place and has a whole set of qualities, the knowledge of which is necessary for practical work with these energy centers ...

MULADHARA chakra. Located in the region of the sacrum, at the end of the spine, between the anus and the genitals. Its color is red. This chakra is a kind of "pump" that supplies the entire body with etheric energy, directing it up the spine.

The activity of the Muladhara Chakra largely determines the health of the bones, legs, spine, colon and kidneys. A person for whom this center functions correctly has a sense of strength and vitality, as well as the necessary amount of etheric energy. He, as they say, "stands firmly on his feet." He has increased resistance to disease, vigor, endurance and determination in everyday affairs.

If this center is at least partially closed or its functions are violated, most of the vital forces of the body are blocked, it becomes sluggish, passive in the external world. All this leads to the fact that a person easily becomes addicted or becomes a victim on the physical and psychological levels. Physical symptoms can manifest themselves in diseases such as frequent constipation, hemorrhoids, anemia, overweight ...

SVADHISTANA Chakra. Located in the lower abdomen, between the navel and the genitals. Orange color. The chakra is responsible for sexuality, reproduction and performance of the organism on all planes (physical, astral, mental).

On the physical plane, the Svadhisthana Chakra controls the circulation of fluids in the body. The most closely related to it are the liver, spleen, sex glands, uterus. A person with an open Svadhisthana center has a high sexual potency. He has the ability to use creative and conserving energies to ascend to pure art and pure relationships with others. He is free from lust, anger, envy, greed and jealousy.

Due to a huge number of social conventions, this center is very often partially blocked, which leads to the loss of the ability to deeply and calmly enjoy the exchange of energies, sexual intercourse, as well as to excessive shyness, emotional constraint and numerous complexes. The overall energy of the body is significantly reduced. Physical symptoms of Svadhisthana blockage: impotence, frigidity, problems with intestinal motility, constipation, diseases of the uterus, prostate, liver, spleen.

MANIPURA chakra. Located in the solar plexus region, between the twelfth thoracic vertebrae and the first lumbar vertebrae. Its color is yellow. The chakra is responsible for receiving vital energy (Prana), its accumulation and distribution in the body.

On the physical level, this center is associated with the pancreas, small intestine, stomach and liver. The functioning of this center is also directly related to the emotional life of a person, willpower, the ability to express and control emotions.

Etheric connections at the level of this chakra play an important role in interpersonal communication, especially manipulative interactions. Chakra development is associated with the power of the individual, the ability to manipulate others and resist other people's influence. If this center is open and functioning normally, a person's emotions are ordered, and the emotional life is rich and varied.

Dysfunction of the Manipura chakra leads to a decline in vitality, nervous exhaustion, seizures, emotional stiffness and instability, depression, colitis, gastritis, ulcers and other diseases of the digestive system. The activity of the pancreas may also be disrupted.

Anakhata chakra. Located in the center of the chest, at the level of the heart, between the nipples. Green color. The energies of this chakra are associated with feelings of love and compassion, with the manifestation of higher emotions.

At the physical level, the chakra is associated with the thymus gland, lungs, heart, hands. It plays a significant role in balancing the higher and lower chakras, as well as in the transmission and transformation of energy. A person with an open heart center is emotionally liberated and open. He gives love to everyone around him, without demanding anything in return, and is able to see their uniqueness.

The dysfunction of this center is accompanied by a feeling of emotional closeness, lack of love and compassion, harshness in communication, being busy with unimportant issues and avoiding important ones. Physical symptoms: lung and heart diseases, allergies.

VISHUDHA Chakra. Located in the throat area. Color - sky blue. The activity of this chakra is associated with the ability for creativity, communication, as well as intuition.

On the physical plane, the thyroid gland, shoulders, neck and skin correspond to it. The effect of the normal work of the chakra: calmness, purity, clarity, melodiousness of the voice; ability for spiritual poetry; understanding of the higher laws of the universe and an inquiring mind.

Blockage or poor functioning of the chakra at the physical level is expressed in the form of diseases of the thyroid gland, throat (loss of voice, sore throat, laryngitis, etc.), frequent colds, neck pain, allergies. Psychological symptoms: depression, communication problems, low self-esteem, difficulty with creative expression.

AJNA Chakra. ("Third Eye"). Located in the center of the head, at the level of the forehead, between the eyebrows. The color is deep blue. It is associated with the ability to visualize, understand mental concepts, propensity for self-knowledge, clairvoyance and intuition.

At the physical level, the center is related to the pituitary gland, cerebral hemispheres, eyes. A person with an open Ajna center is largely freed from the consequences of the karma he has created. He is calm, balanced and happy with everything that happens to him. With a favorable set of circumstances, he may develop paranormal and occult abilities.

Dysfunction of this chakra causes headaches, nightmares, epilepsy, mental disorders and nervous diseases. Hearing and vision are impaired, up to their complete loss. Disruptions in the general regulation of processes in the body are possible. Imagination and creativity are weakened, and the ability to bring ideas to life is reduced.

SAHASRAR Chakra. ("The Thousand-petalled Lotus"). It is located in the region of the crown, in the space just above the crown. Color - dazzling white (undeveloped - purple). This center provides a connection between a person and the Spirit, as well as the integration of the body into a single whole at various levels.

On the physical plane, it is connected with the pineal gland, pituitary gland, cerebral cortex and the whole organism as a whole. The full opening of this chakra leads to Enlightenment and the unity of a person with the Absolute (it is extremely rare). The effect of the full-fledged work of the chakra: the acquisition of the ability to superconsciousness, the acquisition of a holistic perception of the world, the realization of the fullness of life.

Chakra dysfunction leads to mental illness, epilepsy, disorder in the interactions of subtle bodies and body systems. Psychologically, a person feels like a martyr who deserves a lot in life, but is forced to show himself extremely selfishly in order to achieve his goals, to constantly fight.

Working out the chakras is not difficult and consists in concentrating attention on the corresponding energy center while simultaneously visualizing its inherent color and vibrating the desired sound. Despite the seeming simplicity, exercise is a powerful (!) Means of self-regulation and gives positive results, both at the level of the physical body and psychologically.

Personally, thanks to this technique, I managed to get rid of the allergy to pollen, which tormented me for many years. In addition, working out the chakras of the upper level (Sahasrara, Ajna, Vishuddha, and partly Anahata) allows you to develop hidden capabilities in a person, very often called occult, extrasensory or paranormal ... ??

CHAKRA PROCESSING

1. Immediately after completing your meditation, sit on a chair or lie down on the floor. (A sitting position with the vertebral column upright is preferable). Relax, arms and legs should not cross (if you are sitting "in Turkish" or "in the Lotus position" - legs can cross). Concentrate on the Sahasrara Chakra (the space above the crown of the head).

Imagine there is a glowing, bright white ball above your head, slightly larger than a tennis ball. Feel the energy emanating from this ball. Increase your concentration as much as possible! The radiance of the ball should increase, the energy will begin to pulsate.

Without taking your attention away from the chakra, draw as much air as possible into your chest and begin to vibrate the sound "I-and-and ...". The sound originates in the area of the diaphragm and, ascending higher and higher, reaches the Sahasrara. Your task is to simultaneously "see" the chakra in a bright white light and clearly feel the vibration in the place of its glow. Do 3-5 vibrating reps.

Having finished vibrating, imagine how a thin shining ray descends from the Sahasrara pulsing with bright white light. Having reached the area of the Ajna chakra, the beam expands, forming another ball of light, slightly smaller than the first. Its color is deep blue.

Now breathe in again and start vibrating again: "And-and-and ...". Do 3-5 repetitions, then project the glowing beam into the chest area, at the level between the nipples. The beam expands into a bright green ball. Sound vibration: "A-a-a ...". Then go to the Manipura Chakra. Color - yellow, vibration: "Oh-oh-oh ...". Work the other two chakras in the same way. Svadhisthana corresponds to orange color and vibration "U-u-u ...", Muladhara - red color, vibration is also "U-u-u ...".

When you have finished vibrating Muladhara, relax and return to your normal breathing rhythm. All seven chakras should shine before your inner gaze, each in its corresponding color. The chakras are connected by a thin cord of light. Watch this "pillar of light" for a while, feeling a powerful energy pulsation.

2. After you have learned to do this exercise perfectly, add the following to it. Now, concentrating your attention, in addition to color and corresponding vibrations, mentally focus on the functions that each chakra performs in your body when it functions correctly (see the above list of correspondences).

3. At the next stage of elaboration, your task is to mentally project the corresponding color ray into space when the chakra is “ignited”. Each ray is projected onto an imaginary white screen located directly in front of you at a distance of three to four meters. The exception is Sahasrara - from it the light ray rushes not to the screen, but upward, to infinity, and Muladhara - from it the light ray rushes not to the screen, but downward, to infinity ...

In addition to the general healing of the body, this exercise will allow you to consciously radiate etheric energy and influence the people around you ... ?

4. The final, fourth stage can be started only after thorough mastering of the three previous ones. After successively working through all the stages, concentrate your attention in the area of the Muladhara chakra. Increase energy vibration. Then imagine a small golden snake, which, with a barely noticeable hiss, begins to unfold from the ball into which it was previously folded, and slowly climb up the spinal column ...

Feel her movement! Feel her head touching each chakra she goes through. The snake represents the latent power ("Kundalini"). Do not try to speed up or slow down its movement. Let everything happen naturally, by itself ...

Once it reaches the Sahasrara, carefully turn it around and point it down ...

Rising, the snake moves along the right side of the spine, and when descending, along the left. You can synchronize its movement with breathing: inhale - on the rise, exhale - on the descent. Having reached Muladhara, the snake (necessarily !!!) must again curl up into a ball ...

Do this exercise daily, but no more than once a day. It will get better and better with each repetition. Be extremely careful to avoid any negligence. Upon completion of the exercise, the snake must certainly be in the Muladhara Chakra in a folded position! ..

As you already understood, both "Meditation" and "Working on the Chakras" make up a single set of exercises. At the initial stage of mastering it, you most likely will not feel anything special. However, after a few months (provided that the exercises are done daily!), Dramatic changes may occur in your life. Your health will improve significantly, your mood will stabilize. Failures and disappointments will recede. Your financial situation will gradually begin to improve ... ??

However, all this is mere trifles. Most importantly, a completely new, fantastic, yet unexplored world will begin to open before you. The World of Subtle Levels. It will probably take years, but if you are persistent in your aspiration and constant in doing the necessary practices, sooner or later, it will definitely happen. Believe me, the game is worth the candle! ??

From this moment, while awake or in a state of sleep, during this life, as well as during the next lives (as well as in the intervals between them, called "death"), your consciousness will remain indissoluble! Having ceased to be a puppet in the hands of fate, you will begin to lead a meaningful existence, making the most of everything that happens to you, developing, and helping others to develop! .. ??
