A fake app threatens your savings.
The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation announced the emergence of a new scheme for deceiving citizens. Scammers, posing as employees of the department, offer to install a fictitious "application of the Ministry of Health" to receive cashback for recently completed medical examinations.
Once the application is installed, the attackers provide the victim with a data entry form, allowing them to access the user's bank card.
The Ministry of Health emphasizes that the department does not have its own applications. All digital services are available exclusively on the Unified Public Services Portal.
