I know that Apple has a reputation to be hard cardable, but 6 months ago, with a FR Amex I did it for an iPad (was my first try) without the real billing adress, I just put my drop adress at the place, they just called me after sent the ipad to tell me that my billing adress, which is registered to Amex, is incorrect and asked me to change it directly by calling my bank.
But it was enough and the package was already sent.
I guess maybe I just got luck, so I would like to ask if someone already have tried and success with Apple in France or Europe because this time I have a good full VISA info and i would like to know what i supposed to do to have a 99% success when you order ?
Can I put the real billing adress but just change the drop adress in the same city ?? Do they ask for verification docs now ??
