The popular BreachForums platform is back online after another domain loss caused by the FBI. In this case, all users will have to re-register, which is open only from time to time, and not constantly. To convince users that the site is not a trap, the project owners from the ShinyHunters group immediately published a large leak on it.
We are talking about the base of the Ticketmaster ticket aggregator with a volume of 1.3 terabytes. It contains detailed information about the company's 560 million customers. This includes full names, physical and email addresses, phone numbers, events attended, and the last four digits of credit card numbers and expiration dates. The cost of the base is 500 thousand dollars.
Ticketmaster itself has confirmed an information leak related to the theft of data from a third-party cloud environment. Although the name of the provider has not been disclosed, based on a report published by Hudson Rock, it is believed to be Snowflake. The intended method of attack is infection using the Lumma Stealer.
Nevertheless, the last attempt to close Breached cannot be called completely unsuccessful. The FBI did not issue an official press release on this matter, but on the darknet after the arrest of the platform’s infrastructure, the alleged arrest of the administrator of the Baphomet project was widely discussed. Later this information was confirmed by representatives of ShinyHunters.
