I found for you a theme that the guys implemented in 2k16, I think many of you will be interested in reading it.

Further from the author's words:
The bottom line is that anyone who has access to the Apple ID account can block the device, while leaving their contact information for communication (email) on the splash screen.

Scammers started using it, demanding $ 30 - $ 50 from the victim for unlocking the iPhone. Unlocking a device by its owner is almost impossible or very expensive (to the extent that some people sell locked iPhones for spare parts).

To block your iPhone, just go to "icloud.com", log in to your account and lock the device (by entering the contact details that will be visible to the owner on the lock screen).

In most cases, the owners themselves leave their Apple ID data to scammers, and there are even entire sites selling such accounts for scammers. It turns out that even a schoolboy who bought an account can blackmail people, earning thousands of dollars a day (and they do it, the temptation is great)

Precautions for iPhone owners:
1. Never use a "shared" account, this can be a trap that blocks anyone who logs in to the account on their device.
2. Do not enter your account details on third-party websites and apps.
3. Don't share your account with strangers online (and it happens)
4. Never enter your account details while connected to the internet via public wi-fi (attackers can intercept the data)
5. The main security factor is a strong, 8-digit (or more) password.

On day 1, a fraudster can block up to 100 iPhones
