Life is extremely unpredictable. There are countless quotes like this: "people make plans for tomorrow, not knowing if they will live until the evening." A little scary, right?

The realization that life is finite is the very incentive that many people lack. People are constantly putting off everything that they will regret in the future.

Steve Jobs has developed an interesting concept out of his philosophy: last-day living. And he faithfully adhered to it for decades.

And in order to show that the decisions made on pain of death are pretty good, we will tell you an interesting story from his life.

Once Steve gave a talk at one of the American universities, where he really liked a girl from the audience. After the performance, he approached her and invited her to dinner that evening, but it turned out that she had a meeting scheduled - the date would not take place.

And so, going to his car, Steve asked himself the question: “What would I do if this day was the last in my life?”. After that, before reaching the car, he turned sharply and walked back.

What happened next is already history, but the fact is that that girl from the audience eventually became his wife.

None of us will ever know for sure when we will have to make fateful decisions, but definitely - they should be made guided by the principle of the founder of Apple, asking ourselves the question: “What would I do if this day was the last in my life?”.

You can say anything about this, but one thing is important - the one who makes decisions based on this principle will sooner or later be right.
