British luxury carmaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has allegedly had its tracking data, source code, and employee information stolen and leaked.
The attack allegedly took place earlier this month, with hackers stealing 700 internal company documents. The hackers announced the attack on a popular data breach forum, claiming to have gained access to development logs, tracking data, source code, and personal data of JLR employees.
The hackers claim that the leaked employee data includes: Usernames Email addresses Display names Working time zones.
The data leak suggests that those attacked may include JLRs from all over the world, as people appear to have been affected across multiple time zones.
