Amazon will track mouse movements and keystrokes from remote support staff.
The technology will reduce the likelihood of hacker attacks and data transfer to fraudsters. According to company representatives, there have already been several such attempts: attackers managed to impersonate support workers and gain access to confidential user data using social engineering.
Reportedly, a “profile of clicks” will be created for each employee. The system will compare all new clicks and clicks with a "standard", which will allow it to see if a hacker has taken possession of an employee's computer in order to steal personal data of users.
It is noted that the development does not analyze the sites and applications that the employee uses, and will not control work communications.
