Today I will tell you about some cloud services that support encryption, namely, client side encryption. This is very important for maintaining confidentiality and general data security. Client side encryption is not provided by services such as: Google Drive, DropBox, OneDrive, Yandex drive and others. But provided by the following:

1) Mega

Mega - (MEGA Encrypted Global Access ) is an ambitious cloud file hosting service for Kim Dotcom, the founder of the legendary Megaupload.

Mega encrypts all content right in the browser using the AES algorithm; users can transfer files to each other in encrypted form, while all data is stored in the cloud; file access keys are not published publicly, but are distributed according to the Friend-to-Friend scheme, between users who trust each other.

Free disk space: 50 GB (!)

2) pCloud

pCloud
is a secure cloud for storing your files. Security is ensured by two approaches: firstly, all information is transferred to pCloud servers via TLS / SSL protocol and copied to at least 3 servers with different locations in a highly secured data center; secondly, you can subscribe to pCloud Crypto ($ 3.99 per month) and take advantage of unbreakable client-side encryption with a simplified interface to use.

Free disk space: 20 GB

3) iDrive

iDrive is the ideal online backup tool with a high level of privacy. If you want to keep a copy of your important documents on a cloud server, then iDrive is what you are looking for. Using it is simple: download the iDrive software, launch the app and select the folders to sync.

Backups can be done from your PC-computers, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android devices on one account. Quite a high level of data security. Transfer and storage of files with 256-bit AES encryption using a user-defined key that is not stored anywhere on servers.

Free disk space: 5 GB

4) SpiderOak

SpiderOak
is considered one of the most secure cloud data storage (even touted by Snowden, lol).
The developers assure that the password for accessing the account is not transferred anywhere, and during the first authorization a special key is created, which opens the desktop client's access to the cloud data storage.

Free disk space: 10 GB

The latter service is the most popular and limited in functions (very!) On the free plan. Be careful when choosing a cloud service.
