Prosecutors of the Zheltovodsk District Prosecutor's Office sent to the court an indictment against a resident of Verkhovtsevo on the fact of fraud (Part 1, 2 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that the accused placed ads on well-known online shopping sites for the sale of non-existent clothing.
Potential buyers made full payment for the product to the fraudster's bank cards, but did not receive it.
Thus, for 2022-2023, the accused deceived 60 people from different regions of Ukraine.
The amount of losses is almost one million hryvnias.
During the authorized search at the place of residence of the person involved, bank cards, phones, SIM cards and cash were seized.
The man was exposed in August 2023. Now, at the request of the prosecutor, the court has seized his real estate.
The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was carried out by officers of the police department No. 3 of the Kamensky district Police Department of the GUNP in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
