How to make the right choices in work, business and life that you will never regret?
We want to tell you about an amazing and very simple technique of 7 questions, which will allow you to assess the situation from different points of view, get rid of doubts and bring the ability to make the right choice to a new level.
WARNING: You may not always like the answers, but in the end, they will help you make the right decision.
1. What would I choose (s) if not for fear?
Unfortunately, too many decisions in our lives take our own fears and stereotypes for us. Of course, successful businessmen take a balanced approach to all the risks that they take on in their choice, but they also consciously approach their fears at the same time. If you feel obstacles, write down (in the literal sense of the word!) All your fears and doubts and carefully work them out with someone who will help you be objective. Sometimes the choices we fear the most are the best ones.
2. What would I choose (s) if not for the money?
What do you think: many brilliant ideas were never realized due to lack of money? Or is there no money due to the fact that these ideas were not implemented? Will you deny yourself the development and movement forward if it seems to you that you do not have enough funds for this? No matter how fantastic it may sound, but if you made the right choice, money will always be found. Remember crowdfunding (from the English. Crowd funding, crowd - "crowd", funding - "funding"). You can also ask for help from relatives, friends, acquaintances, or simply let your environment know that you are looking for an investor. And let money, or rather their absence, do not stop you.
3. What is the worst and the best that can happen?
As a follow-up to the previous two questions, draw yourself on paper a mental map of all the possible consequences of all possible decisions. List the positive, negative, tangible and minor results that your choice will entail. In most cases, the best way out in this way will become self-evident.
4. What has my previous experience taught me?
Any life experience - be it positive or negative - provides us with valuable lessons. Defeats in our life happen only when we have not learned any lesson for ourselves. Taking off is as valuable a lesson as falling. Think back to your previous ups and downs and think: Does your previous experience tell you how to deal with this situation?
5. Does this match my vision?
Ask yourself the question: do you really need it or do you agree out of necessity, although you are turning in a completely different direction from where you are aiming? After all, one of the main factors of success is consistency, so always keep in mind if this decision aligns with your vision, and does it knock you off your course?
6. What do soul and body tell me?
Think back to your last choice that you regret - didn't your inner voice or body give you signals that you shouldn't do this? If you feel physical discomfort when making a decision or your inner voice quietly discourages you - listen to these signals. They may not coincide with what you are leaning towards at the moment, but the subconscious mind is much more aware of how this choice will affect you in the future.
7. How will I look at myself in the mirror tomorrow?
Finally, about the future. How will you feel the day after you make a decision? If you feel proud, energized and inspired, you are on the right track. If you find yourself feeling shame or regret, don't ignore those feelings. If you are experiencing them now, prepare for the worst.
