Want to be anonymous online to view blocked websites, protect yourself from hackers or want to hack someone and stay un-traced?. In the following post i will explain 4 easy ways by which you can stay anonymous online!

1. Using Proxies

A proxy is an address ( IP address ) of a Server (proxy server) that is placed between your computer and the Internet The advantage of a proxy is that your real IP address is Hidden so when you hack your giving the IP address of the proxy server and not your real IP address Same way if you’re a normal Internet user the hacker won't get your real IP but the IP of the proxy server. You can use it to enter site or forum that you are IP is banned. To know more about proxies let me know above this post and I will post a full tutorial about it.

2. Using Tor

Tor-proxy is a free proxy-server service that Internet users can use to hide their IP address while surfing the Web. Tor (The Onion Router) is free software for enabling online anonymity. Tor directs Internet traffic through a free, worldwide volunteer network consisting of more than three thousand relays to conceal a user's location or usage from anyone. I have written a complete How to guide on how to use tor - just let me know if you need it.

3. SSH Tunneling

SSH tunnel is an encrypted tunnel created through an SSH protocol connection. SSH tunnels may be used to tunnel unencrypted traffic over a network through an encrypted channel. In easy language, you can surf net.
Without being monitored and even surf blocked sites too. To know more about SSH and SSH tunneling let me know if you would like to read: SSH tunneling guide.

4. Using VPN

Virtual Private Network. Basically it’s a private network which lets users to connect to other users or remote sites using a public network usually internet. It uses “virtual” connections routed through the Internet from the company’s private network to the remote site or employee instead of physical connections. In short, it is private network constructed within a public network infrastructure, such as the global Internet. The Biggest difference between proxy and VPN is everything in a VPN is encrypted which gives an additional layer of security.

Myths about Anonymous

Browser and its TOR network it is considered a good tool for anonymity.

When using this network and browser, encrypted traffic passes through a chain of proxy servers that are independent of each other. She regularly
changes and new proxies are used. Many people think that to define user and his data is unrealistic.

But this is not the case. First, the last server sees the traffic in the unencrypted form. Secondly, the hardware of the computer, Canvas Fingerprint and other things are monitored.
So yes, Thor enhances anonymity, but it is not a panacea.

The next misconception is that the history of my requests is kept only by mine browser and I can easily remove it.

No, any search engine stores and remembers your queries. It happened that you google some product, and then you are followed by its advertising? This is it and there is. Google remembered what you were looking for and took advantage of it.
The third myth is that I will turn on the proxy and be anonymous.

First, the provider sees that you are connecting to a specific proxy server. Therefore, if you are interested, it will be easy to track you. AND if you don't connect, then the provider will initially know and store completely your browsing history, even if you later delete it from your computer.
The fourth myth. You think that if you do not indicate your real ones on the Internet name and surname, no one will get to them? The answer is no.

For example, many services now require a mobile phone number. And already by it's not difficult for him to track you. You will say that the SIM is registered not in your name.
But your phone number is stored in the contacts of your friends, acquaintances and relatives. Some of them have you signed by name and surname. Mom has you signed as "Son". And at least one of your contacts has synchronization phone book with Google. Do you understand the connection?

Well, the fifth myth - if you turn off the geolocation in the smartphone, then my location cannot be tracked.

First, you can still be traced by the phone number with the operator mobile communication.
Secondly, you can be easily tracked over the Wi-Fi network to which you connect.
And so on) In general, using a smartphone, you can forget about complete anonymity, unless you disable all the functions there that make it a smartphone.
