It depends, a lot of stores will ask for OTP depending on how high is your fraud score, this means that you can get past it even with VBV cards if your setup is good enough, in other hand we have non vbv bins a card with one of these bins will simply not ask for OTP when checking out, and apart from that there is stores with 2D secure which are basically sites that don't ask for OTP no matter which card are you using, take in consideration that some non vbv bins are blacklisted because criminals have over used them
