How to choose a service for sending emails
It is easy to create a beautiful newsletter now, for example, in the Tilda email constructor. But how do you choose the service through which you send your newsletter? The number of programs is increasing every day. Everyone promises convenient features, and in fact they ask you to fill in bank details even for a trial version. And it's not a fact that the chosen mail service is right for you.
The article contains 10 mailing services that have free versions. The services were checked by the Tilda Publishing team and ranked by popularity according to the data of the site traffic analytics service SimilarWeb.

1. MailChimp

Audience according to SimilarWeb - 42 million unique visitors per month
Free version limitations: up to 2,000 subscribers, up to 12,000 emails per month
Interface and support language: English
Integration with external services: Tilda, Google, Facebook, Shopify. Complete list. Also via API.
Tilda compatibility: easy to link accounts in Tilda settings
The world's most popular mailing service - and therefore difficult to find an app that doesn't integrate with MailChimp.

There are many templates, at the stage of layout you can see how your newsletter looks like in browsers and mobile applications. In the free version, statistics are available, it is possible to segment the audience by behavior - for example, who abandoned the cart, viewed but did not buy or did not read the article to the end. There is a mobile application in which it is convenient to change something when there is no computer at hand. The free version has DKIM.
DKIM
Email authentication method - guarantees email services that the email was sent from your domain. DKIM helps to ensure that the email was actually sent by a company and not a scammer and improves email deliverability.

Templates, mobile preview, Google Analytics integration, multiple user access to an account.

High cost of a subscription (from $ 20 per month if the free version does not suit you) and an English-language interface.

2. SendPulse

Audience according to SimilarWeb - 10 million unique visitors per month
Free version limitations: up to 2,500 subscribers, up to 15,000 letters per month
Interface and support language: Russian
Integrations: Yandex. Cashier, Bitrix, AmoCRM, Zapier and other CRM and CMS; via API
Compatible with Tilda: via html code insertion
Simple and straightforward service for sending mailings in Russian. The free plan gives you the opportunity to try different functions - for example, auto-messages, push notifications or A / B testing.

The advantage of SendPlus is that it sends emails through their SMTP server (it helps to improve the security of mailing and its deliverability). The number of ready-made templates in the free version of SendPulse is limited, but it is easy to insert the html code of the newsletter on Tilda and send a beautiful newsletter. At the bottom there will be a small signature of the service, you can choose a signature design from several options.

Email newsletter adapts to mobile devices, you can see how it looks in advance. There is a mobile application. Integration with Yandex.Checkout has recently appeared. You can link the service to an online store and, for example, add instant payment to your email.

Responsiveness, preview on mobile devices, integration with many services.

Integration with Google Analytics is available only in the paid version of the service.

3. SendSay

Audience according to SimilarWeb - 2.9 million unique visitors per month
Free version limitations: up to 200 subscribers, up to 1000 letters per month
Interface and support language: Russian
Integrations: by API
Compatibility with Tilda: by inserting html code
The free plan includes all the features of the email newsletter service, but due to the audience limitation, only very small companies (up to 200 subscribers) will be able to use it. Only two ready-made templates are available for free, you can create your own, as well as insert the html code.

The interface is not easy to understand - for example, it is not clear where to insert the html code. It turns out that you can add it directly to the text of your email campaign. There is A / B testing, triggers and customer base segmentation.

A good summary of statistics in the form of diagrams - in addition to standard openings and transitions, there is a click map, it is convenient to see who logged in from which device. DKIM is only available through support, which is inconvenient. SendSay does not substitute its signature at the end of the letter, which is not very important, but nice.

The service belongs to subscribe.ru, which is in the white lists of almost all postal services, so there is confidence that the letters will reach the addressee.

A limitation on the number of subscribers, an incomprehensible interface and the need to go to a PDF file with help all the time.

4. Sendinblue

Free version limitations: the number of subscribers is not limited, up to 9000 letters per month
Interface and support language: English
Integrations: PrestaShop, Shopify, Magento and others, the rest via API
Tilda compatibility: via html code insertion
Convenient mailing service with an intuitive interface. The main advantage of the free version is that there is no limit on the number of subscribers, unlike other email services. There are many good templates in the newsletter editor, you can insert your own html code. The newsletter adapts to different devices, in the editor you can see how the letter looks on a tablet or phone.

In the free plan, you can link your account with Google Analytics, in statistics, among other data, you can view the heat map and evaluate the subscriber's behavior. There are triggers, automatic mailings, and a mobile application. There will be a very neat SendInBlue logo at the bottom of the letter.

No limit on the number of subscribers, intuitive interface, Google Analytics connection.

Interface language and support: English
Integrations: Dropbox, Shopify, Flickr and a huge number of other Zoho services, as well as API

The main advantage of the Zoho email marketing service is its integration with all other Zoho services - CRM, Mail and others. You will have to pay for them separately. The interface is clear and user-friendly, the pre-moderation of mailings is very fast. In the free plan, you can add up to 5 users with admin rights to your account.

The functionality of mailings includes audience segmentation, auto-letters, adaptive design for different devices (with preview), more than 100 letter templates. What is important, there is a spam check and a high level of deliverability in the inbox. Another nice bonus is the built-in manager of deferred publications in social networks.

Interface language and support: English
Integrations: Facebook, Google, Zoho, PayPal, Zapier - more than 300 in total, the rest via API
Compatibility with Tilda: by inserting html code
The free version of the mailing service has a lot of good features - A / B testing for headers (you can test everything else in the paid version), deliverability to the Inbox instead of spam, subscription forms, audience segmentation, creating polls inside email campaigns and connecting Google Analytics. The interface is simple and intuitive. There is a mobile application.

BenchMark has a nice editor with a large number of templates and a built-in photo editor - you can immediately edit images. The templates have an option to choose a different color palette. Convenient html editor into which you can simply paste the code.

Free version limitations: up to 300 contacts, up to 4000 letters per month
Interface and support language: English
Integrations: Zapier, Shopify and others, as well as API
Compatibility with Tilda: by inserting html code
Not a bad email newsletter service with an average set of functions in a free plan. The interface is not very modern, but straightforward. In your personal account, you can create a regular mailing list or an automated one, as well as publish a post on Facebook and Twitter.

There are letter templates, automatic posting on social networks, redirects to a page of your site after filling out a form or unsubscribing from a mailing list. Quite a limited subscriber base, although this may be enough for someone.

A large number of ready-made integrations with services, the ability to post to Facebook and Twitter.

There is no integration with analytics systems, A / B testing, heat maps, previews on different devices. No spam check. In the free plan, technical support is provided only via mail - in English.

Compatibility with Tilda: accounts are easy link in Tilda settings.
A Russian-language email newsletter service with good functionality at a free plan and a strict audience restriction. The pricing policy is flexible, if you have more than 100 subscribers, but you rarely send letters, the price will be low (0.28 rubles / letter). There are many ready-made templates in two editors, responsive letters, the interface is easy to understand. A plus will be ready-made integration with many CMS, CRM and services, as well as connecting Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica.

The free plan includes DKIM, which improves email deliverability. There is also audience segmentation, auto-letters, access of several users to the account.

9. Coga System

Audience according to SimilarWeb - 18 thousand unique visitors per month
Limitations of the free version: up to 100 subscribers, up to 500 letters per month
Interface and support language: Russian
Integrations: no
Tilda compatibility: by inserting html code
The interface of the Coga System mail service is a thing of the past, but it is very easy to understand. The campaign is created in a few easy-to-understand steps. On a free plan, you can run a regular mailing list or with A / B testing. There is an HTML editor where you can insert code from Tilda, there is a visual and simple text editor. You can select the language in the mailing template - Russian or English.

A basic report on openings and views is available, you can segment the audience and send automatic and trigger emails.

The free plan has a very small subscriber base, so this option is suitable for small companies with no more than 100 customers.

A / B testing, the interface is easy to figure out, you can choose the language of the mailing template.

Very small subscriber base. In general, there are no integrations with other services - and there is no information about this either on the website or in your personal account.

10. Mail 365

Audience according to SimilarWeb - 8 thousand unique visitors per month
Free version limitations: up to 2000 subscribers, the number of letters is not limited
Interface and support language: Russian
Integrations: 1C-Bitrix, InSales, Cs. Cart and others, the rest - via API
Compatibility with Tilda: via html code insertion
The free plan in Mail 365 has its limitations. You can send the newsletter free of charge only to those contacts that are collected using the service subscription forms. Each email requires confirmation from the subscriber. The creators of the mail service associate these measures with the fact that they want to be sure that users are not sending spam. This option may be suitable for a company that does not yet have its own subscription base and which will only collect it.

Among the offered integration platforms, the emphasis is on applications for stores, which indicates that the service is focused on online commerce.

Letters are checked by "smart filters" for the correct name, surname and gender of the subscriber. Errors are corrected automatically, for example, the service will correct a typo in the name "Adeksey" and understand that "Maria" is a woman's name.

The subscriber base must be collected through the service subscription form, there is no access to the support service on the free plan.
