201 dumps

hello, thanks to anyone who chimes in If i take a non-vbv 201 dump and write it to a mag stripe and use it at an old ATM that doesn't read chips, will it work, has anyone tried it ? Also, there has been many different ways to write mag stripes who knows the 100% correct way because I've read...

lately i saw in posts that you can clone a 201 dump to mag stripe and hit the dump. is this true? If this is true what MSR encoder works for this? would a msr605x work?
