Nah that's bullshit. I order tickets from Ticketmaster as soon as possible to get the best seats and they never get canceled. I get VIP backstage tickets sometimes almost 2 months out and they still work when I go to the concert. Best cards for Ticketmaster are Discover and AMEX.
