Depends on what country your in. For Example, if your in the UK, you cant use a 201 track on a chip reading ATM. However if you're in the US, US atms dont read 201 so it can be cashed out as if its a 101 d+p.

The terminal will read that the card is a 201, and will ask you to insert the card. This method is to bypass that by giving the terminal no other option BUT to swipe to get the payment processed.
