In my community here in Canada in some areas of Ontario, people are starting to sell and talk about PGP encryption. I was looking into it and people are paying up to $1000 for the phone that comes with PGP enabled.

They are installing PGP onto Blackberry phones cheap/expensive models and selling the phones for $1000. I'm assuming people are selling 3-6 month access for $1000 because its going through a server they own/host.

I want to know if it's practical because I looked for it and Symantec no longer sells or distributes the PGP server application so it seems its outdated.

I want to start up my own server to host PGP Encryption for peoples mail. A lot of people are looking for this.

Blackberry uses encryption by itself as it is known, also CrackberryIM is pretty safe Id say, reasonably at least
