While many stakeholders that the future of mobile payments pass by, traditional players such as Visa or MasterCard are convinced that the credit card has much future and worth further innovation in technology that debuted in the early 40.

* In this sense, MasterCard just introduced what could be the credit card of the future. As we see in the picture above, on the plastic surface is to install a small LCD display and a keyboard that will help us in our future transactions.

These two developments represent primarily a safety jump, because its function is to allow us to operate through temporary PINs. That is, it's over to associate a credit card with a unique PIN (although now we can change in a more or less straightforward in an ATM).

The new card will allow us to use either a PIN we have changed just before or what is more interesting, a PIN you provide trade and will only serve to that particular transaction, so goes the famous problem of duplicate cards.

In addition, the new card can store points of our loyalty cards and allow us to consult on your screen some useful data, such as recent payments. For now, only the Standard Chartered Bank of Singapore has announced it will offer its customers this card, but soon could join financial institutions worldwide.

I am surprised they havnt implemented a more secure form of credit card payments. They say that credit card fraud is so high yet they havnt done much to change it when we have the technology to do so.

actually they say fraudlent transactions account for like 1% of all visa transaction and why magnetic stripe wasnt phased out by 2006 like it was suppoused to be not enough of a issue to change the system globally , as far as i know paypass works for less then a 100$ or somthing never had a clerk offer its use to me for anything more then a bottle of water

yeah i agree with you bro but why fix it when they get paid off of it all the banks are FDIC insured in the US so if there isnt any fraud then theres no need for insurance and no insurance, no FDIC and then they cant get paid and what do u think happen after that ?, if its not gonna happen then they'll make it happen the USA is nothing but a big business they're only after the same thing we're after MONEY $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
