Why I am writing this?
Just looked around in forum and found that much people don't know how to get good quality plastics with UV and etc... So decided to write small tutorial, I am not good in tutorial writing too so sorry if something not clear
What you need?
You don't need any expensive card printer which cost $5000 or more and don't get good quality. Here is list what we need:
1. UV cartridges ( I use this shop http://www.fake-proof.com/printer_uv_ink.htm but you can google or ebay for it and can find more lesser prices). Price about ~ $50
2. A4 paper format laminator (Ebay.com + hot laminator, price 20$-200$) or you can find it in office shop.
3. Any good inkjet printer (you can buy it for just 50$ or 100$ in computer shop) just look that printer can print good resolution, colors and can print on more thickness GSM paper. If need google for more info gsm+paper. ! DON'T FORGET TO LOOK THAT PRINTER FITS UV CARTRIDGES WHICH YOU BUY BEFORE (step 1)
4. A4 format PVC paper, you can find it in any office shop. Price about ~ $10
5. A4 format laminate, you can find it too in any office shop. Price about ~ $10
6. CR-80 Credit card sized cutter (ebay.com CR80 cutter) Price $40-$100
if you need other sizes not CC/DL/ID use paper cutter, trimmer or guillotine, if need round corners use corner rounder everything can be found in ebay.
7. Hico Magnetic stripe (you can find it in alibaba.com or google) price start $10 roll

Making
1. Get template (you can buy it in forum or you can find it for free just do search around, if you have more skills on redrawing do it yourself, just use templates redrawed not scans, they will not look professionally, redrawed template looks always better than scan) you can use photoshop or CorelDraw I use CorelDraw it's more better for printing.
2. Take A4 PVC paper and print template on it with inkjet printer, I put 8 credit card templates in one A4 sheet, for time saving.
3. Wait until inks dry.
4. Change template to UV template in Photoshop or CorelDraw and print on same sheet. Wait until it dry and now we got UV which will work under black light.
5. In this step if you use any holograms PayPalers like VISA or MC PayPal it on printed PVC paper sheet.
5. Take laminate sheet and put your printed PVC paper in it.
6. Put laminator hot degrees on correct temperature (read laminate and plastic paper sheet specifications for temperature) and put laminate sheet and PVC paper to laminator for laminating.
7. Take magnetic stripe and with any stronger PayPaling method PayPal stripe to right possition on laminate.
8. Take laminate with magnetic stripe and put to laminator again. Now we got magnetic stripe well PayPaled.
9. Last step take CR-80 credit card sized cutter and cut your cards.
For Laminate and PVC paper GSM look by yourself which thickness is best for you
