IPOD VENDING MASCHINES?

they take a picture of your face when you buy

they need ssn...and even still..they dnt work..idk why tho. I had a dump with zip and I also had ssn which they asked for and it still said alt tender even tho the dump had enough money on it

Damn they even ask for a SSN? I dont think thats entirely legal. Theres nothing in Visas merchant policy that says anything about confirming a SSN, a zipcode yeah but never heard of a SSN to verify a card.

Ive used the iPod machines at Macy's department stores at the malls and they just ask for zipcodes and I think one time I had to swipe my novelty ID but never ask for SSN. Maybe your in a different country other than US?

Yeah thats crazy, I've never heard of anything verifying SSN. I can't imagine wanting to type information like then into a vending machine!

Also, these vending machines are often found in places like airports... does that mean that international customers aren't allowed to make a purchase?

In regards to the face picture, what stops you from wearing a scarf or something?

trust me..it happened..i wouldnt make it up. I swiped for an ipad and it asked for zip...i had zip..then it asked for last four of the ssn(maybe i should have clarified that)..and it still didnt approve even tho i had all of that info

Thats pretty weird I never encountered that....I think it might be region specific who knows then again I dont know how the POS could verify the last four of the SSN when most credit card companies dont make sensitive information like that available to retailers or hell even Visa. Even when I did the Call for Authorizations when I spoke to a VISA rep they just ask your name and address and if your traveling or whatever.

Major: I used visa dumps with zip, didnt have any special bins or anything just random ones I picked up. The ID thing only happened to me once it was weird, I just swiped it and it was ok even though I used a made up name etc.

I always wear hats and sometimes I wear +0 reading glasses from the drug store when I card regardless if its a vending machine or a regular retail store. Also EVERYTIME I walk into a store I pull out my cell phone and I act like I am reading a message or texting because usually most stores have cameras facing the entrance to capture your face when you walk in. Then again I really could care less about cameras, they dont talk and if your carding in an area outside of yours, you dont have nothing to worry about. They arent gonna plaster wanted posters looking for you for doing credit card fraud UNLESS your installing skimmers on ATMs
