No one cares about 1k $ :) If there is 3d secure then cards without VBV should work too. It just passes it.

In my opinion its just a blackmailing. There was a thread about another shop before a while. Looked quite same. But the shop had extra bad valid rate so i think there even wasn't point for blackmailing so it could be true :)
