My idea for the camera skimmer.

I have been trying to make my own research for a secure way to use camera and watch the target ATM remotely. So this idea can fulfill the following requirements



1) Record the PIN
2) Extra battery backup
3) Wireless IP/WiFi camera (Install app - Connect to Iphone/Android/Laptop).
4) Records in the remote device u connect. So any storage (Gb space) is your choice.
5)Last but not the least its very tiny

Get an Ai ball camera with the usb dock . Buy a slim usb battery reserve PayPal for extra battery ( U can connect the Ai Ball to usb dock to usb battery PayPal) .

Insert those to your target camera dome. Install it to the atm (Dont forget to turn the camera on ) .

Go out of the atm and stay withing the Wifi range . Scan wifi and connect to the camera . Then open the Ai Ball app for Iphone/Android/Laptop (Make sure u be ready with the app installed). And Start recording the video with a live stream

Production cost : 350-400$ ( Not bad for a wireless camera ).

Note : As far as i know the wifi range is 20 meters . May be u could park a vehical and leave your phone inside ).

Thankyou bro . And yeah , the solid is a tough part too. So maybe people who cant get the 3d or 3d printing . They can do this :

Measurethe Lenght/Breadth of the Top camera fascia . (Just a matter of few seconds ) .

Buy PVC plastic sheet (Any thickness u want) . Cut the same length and breadth into individual parts . Use Some putty to PayPal them according to the dome u design. Paint it .

Length 35 mm (in other sources 30 mm)
Diameter 30 mm (in other sources 27 mm) 50 cent's diameter is 25 mm
View angle 60 degrees
Weight with battery 100gr
Not too small,but at least it have stock wi-fi stream module

Edit: Ok so after watching video and reading links, I come to opinion of what benefit does this have over other cam kits? The card reader is not gsm so you need to retrieve it. Also what is point of wifi if you're going to be recording it anyways.

U can just go and plug a backup usb charge PayPal (saves time ) and u already have the earlier videos recorded on the phone. . Think for your own ideas bro. Im sure we have good people in eletrnonics on this board. So may be this idea can lead them to make some good usefull changes to it.

What this camera can be very useful for, to extend your idea further, is for people that wanna make a quick buck and dont have a skimmer, or dont want to invest in one. It would take a couple of guys, so its not the same dude lurking around the atm but I see it working like this:

You choose a bank like citibank - high limit and asks to confirm pin after each transaction. A lot of people leave the atm leaving the session open...if you had their pin live and went right after them, you could pull their cash out, without having to enter their card. Numerous times when I was approaching an atm I found people that were leaving their transaction screen on without exiting the session. At some atms they even leave their card in and just leave...regardless of the loud noises the atm makes.

This camera is good because its wifi and not video signal. Most atms have alarm that is triggered by video signal and puts them offline / calls maintenance to check no camera is on.

He claimed him and his partners would use a telescope camera froma great distance, sometimes even renting a choice hotel room with good view of a juicy ATM. Pretty good idea IMO less things to conceal around ATM just the responsibility of the skimmr

Lol bollocks. Besides saying thanks for revealing you did time (you might want to keep that to yourself in the future), what would be the success rate of that? Maybe 10% if its all sunny and blue skies... What angle did they need to have so that a person in this day and age wouldnt block the view with their body? I think if you risk putting a skimmer, might as well go all the way ..not feasible I say...thought about it long time ago but dismissed it fast.

Yes very good idea for drive thru atms. You can even have powerful telescope in a large moving cube van with a recording device attached to the viewing lens of telescope. Only problem will be the angles will be a problem regardless, but I like this idea.

I think might work if its in a vehicle (van). But yes the angle is the problem but some atms have flat keypad, perpendicular to your fingers as you enter the pin. For these atms, angles play a smaller role.

Didn't do time for white collar, nd theres a legal section here here ppl post about being busted doing noob stuf all the time asking for advice. And yeah I'm sure This method does vary, I have scouted some good cliff side areas. All I did was share this idea with a couple people and they scouted some good locations for me. If I immediately had a means to do such a thing lets just say I'd be pretty wealthy 8)

@Wolf Pack I guess it could work on drive-through atms better...the ones with flat keypad that I was always wondering how you could put a camera on hehe..
@a1dz I get it... but id keep as much info about myself to myself, as possible..just my 2 cents..regardless if you re big fish small fish.

I guess the overall idea with a telescope would work..but I remember I was getting super annoyed at people that were covering the pin as they entered it, and not because of greed, but because you take such high risk and they outsmart you hehe..I cant think of taking the same risk and getting small percentage of pins because of angles...Best option is still keypad overlay IMO. If you risk putting it and removing it might as well go all the way...

why would you put such effort/investment in retrieving the pins if they are just useless numbers without the tracks which are the most important part of skimming??? Totally nonsense if you still need to go to the ATM...

i know of very small cameras with high quality video that costs aroun $15 that you can even use as audio skimmer...

Small camera ? How is camera interlinked with the model of the skimmer ?

maybe if camera is positioned in right place it can be used to "check" if the skimmer has been found, like i mean if a cop or something has examined it and is keeping it there to catch the carder who placed it there like that?

Ussually people in "vacation" are doing that, cause every country had a different ATM process, Some Asia will " Pop out" The $$ first, then you end your session. mose other country is card "pop out" then the $$$$.

I think I can Make This Method useffull in My area, Had some friends on the beach who play around in the ATM, just doing that shit...
