Wi-Fi 7 officially arrived on January 8, 2024 with the launch of the Wi-Fi Certified 7 program from the Wi-Fi Alliance, and it is expected that by 2028 the number of devices with support for this technology will reach 2.1 billion.

Smartphones, PCs, tablets, and access points will be among the first to adapt to Wi-Fi 7, followed by devices for running on remote client equipment and augmented and virtual reality equipment.
