The world's first stable SIM card provides reliable Internet access on any device.

As part of the collaboration between telecommunications giants Deutsche Telekom and Tele2, a global novelty was introduced – a resilient SIM card (rSIM), which provides a permanent connection and adds the ability to use two SIM cards in devices that do not support this function.

rSIM implements a proprietary technology that independently monitors network connectivity and switches between providers to minimize interruptions. With two independent mobile carrier profiles stored on a single SIM card, rSIM reduces the risk of outages by activating a backup profile in case of outages, ensuring a continuous connection even during network outages.

Deutsche Telekom IoT and Tele2 IoT have become the first connectivity partners for rSIM, providing independent operator profiles for global sustainability. This collaboration aims to improve network reliability and provide continuous network access to customers around the world.

It is expected that the technology will radically change the approach to network connectivity for Internet of Things (IoT) devices and mobile Internet users, providing a constant connection without interruptions.

According to the companies, rSIM aims to establish a new standard for continuous connectivity, providing businesses and consumers with opportunities for uninterrupted communication. In addition, the technology can potentially be used in a variety of industries, from smart cities to industrial automation, introducing and improving IoT technologies on a global level.
