404 Media discovered that the Leonardo AI artificial intelligence image generation platform allows you to create sexual images of famous personalities without their consent.

Queries such as "nude woman" or "nude Taylor Swift" on Leonardo AI do not return results, thanks to the content filtering system.
However, recently in one of the Telegram channels dedicated to creating such images using AI, images of Billie Eilish, generated specifically on Leonardo AI, were published. Users have found a way to circumvent the security system by slightly distorting the names of celebrities and using descriptions that do not contain sexual terminology, but lead to the creation of sexually suggestive images.
Users managed to generate obscene images by bypassing filters
According to venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, Leonardo AI attracted more than 15 million unique visitors per month in May 2023, becoming the 12th most popular site on the Internet that generates content using artificial intelligence.
In September 2023, a representative of Leonardo AI shared his vision of the problem of protecting against inappropriate content. He acknowledged the complexity of the task and stressed the importance of implementing protective measures. The company has created a content moderation team and implemented automated security tools to deal with a large amount of information.
The terms of service on the Leonardo AI platform prohibit the creation of content that misleads or discredits people, as well as includes images containing elements of sexualized violence without consent. At press time, neither Leonardo AI nor Samsung responded to requests for comment regarding this issue.
