There are a lot of scammers in the field of e-currency exchange. According to our statistics, one normal exchanger accounts for up to eight fraudulent sites that are somehow connected with the exchange of electronic currency. Such fraudulent sites are not necessarily made as exchangers, very often these are sites where they talk about making money on the difference in rates on exchangers.
If you carefully read this paragraph and the paragraph "How to make an exchange on the exchanger" the risk of being deceived will decrease as much as possible.

So, what rules should be followed when choosing an exchanger:
  1. Check the exchanger through the search on our website. Enter the name of the exchanger in the field, click "Find". The status of the exchanger and the number of reviews will be highlighted for you.
    “Active” - an exchanger that has passed our checks, is in our listing, is making exchanges at the moment and on which you can make an exchange.
    “Break” - an active, verified exchanger during a technical break.
    “In requests” - the exchanger has been added to the check queue. We recommend you wait for the “active” status for the exchange.
    “On moderation” - the exchanger is being checked by the analyzer. We recommend that you wait for the “active” status for the exchange.
    “Inactive” - the exchanger is not working or our system cannot access the site through communication channels. We recommend that you wait for the “active” status for the exchange.
    “Disabled” - disabled by the analyzer administration. There may be various reasons for this status, for example, some technical malfunction on the part of the exchanger. We also recommend waiting for the “active” status for the exchange.
    “In the stop list” - an exchanger with which we do not recommend cooperating for various reasons. This includes a dismissive attitude towards customers, constant violation of the deadlines for the execution of applications, constant complaints from customers, failure to fulfill obligations under the affiliate program.
    “Scammer” is a fraudulent exchanger, under no circumstances make an exchange!
    You can install the extension into your browser and fraudulent sites will be highlighted in red, active ones - in green,
  2. Look carefully at the reviews about this exchanger on our service. We remove cheated reviews, so you can be sure that they are real.
  3. Use the contact details of the exchanger to clarify information on the exchange, and not for the exchange itself! You need to make an exchange only through an application on the exchanger's website! Many messengers, especially skype and telegram, are designed in such a way that when adding the required contact it is very easy to make a mistake and you can inadvertently add a scammer.
  4. Do not trust Google and Yandex contextual advertising. These advertisements are usually displayed at the top of the search engine page with a small "Advertisement" icon. The services that are advertised in this way are not checked in any way by the search engines, so nothing prevents the fraudster from placing there and stealing money from you.
  5. Do not change funds on exchangers with too high rates, unlike the market ones. Too high a rate for an exchange should at least make you think and study your counterparty more closely.
  6. If the site is not on our analyzer or it is in any other status, except "Active", but you really, really want to exchange on it - look at the reviews about this site on the network, or better refrain from exchanging.
    Separately, we will highlight a few words on how to correctly search for reviews about exchangers. Go to the google search engine and, in order, set the following queries (where there are quotes - exactly with quotes):
    - "exchanger.com"
    - "exchanger.com" reviews;
    - exchanger reviews;
    - exchanger.com reviews;
    - exchanger.com fraud;
    - "exchanger.com" is a scam.

    Naturally, instead of obmennik.com, there should be the address of the desired exchanger. Such requests will allow you to find threads with reviews about this exchanger on the forums. Study them carefully. If you could not find reviews - do not change on this exchanger.
  7. There is no automatic receipt of funds. First of all, this concerns such payment systems as Webmoney, Pefect Money, ADV CASH.
  8. The exchanger is not in the lists of the official exchangers of some payment systems. The Webmoney exchanger should be in only one of the sections: this or this. Perfect Money exchanger should be on this list. And the exchanger changing ADV Cash should be here. Those. if an exchanger changes these electronic currencies, but it is not on these lists, it is better to refrain from exchanging.
  9. No https. This is not at all a mandatory item, but many scammers simply will not waste time installing and paying for a certificate for their site.
  10. Refrain from exchanging, if the site has an icon "Certified by Webmoney",
    88x31_wm_v_blue_on_white_ru.png
    but it does not lead to the Webmoney passport of the site owner.
  11. Do not change funds on exchangers for which there are no reviews.
  12. Do not change funds on exchangers with cheated reviews. At first glance, it can be difficult to determine whether the reviews are winding up or not, but take a closer look and you can see such details as: the same type of reviews, primitiveness, strange ip.

Caution! Earnings on the difference in exchange rates!
Are you offered to earn money on the difference in exchange rates? This is a fraud!
Of course, it is possible to make money on the difference in exchange rates, but this is a rather complicated process that requires attention, endurance, experience, and constant stay online.

This way of earning is to find a circle of exchange, by completing which you earn some percentage. For example, find the rate of Bank to Bitcoin and immediately find the rate in the opposite direction of Bitcoin to Bank, but slightly higher than for a direct exchange. You need to understand that earnings on the difference in exchange rates can be approximately 0.5-1% per exchange circle, sometimes 2%, and higher profitability is quite rare. Many tools of our service allow you to track such “forks”. However, you must find these forks yourself.

And a completely different situation, when you find a site on the network, where it is very colorful and detailed how you can earn money, and even links to exchangers are directly given - this is a scam! Moreover, some of these exchangers can be normal, most often for input, when you need to buy some kind of electronic currency, for example, from Bank, Privat24, PayPal or another payment system. Another part of these exchangers will be fraudulent, and when you send e-currency, you will simply lose it.

I got caught by a scammer, what should I do?
Above all, don't get discouraged. Even if you fail to return the funds, treat this situation as a lesson that will help you save your funds in the future if you draw the right conclusions.

Algorithm of actions:
  1. You need to understand whether you are caught by a scammer or is it just a delay on the side of the exchanger. Find an exchanger through our search. If it has the status "Active" write a claim on the feedback / claims page. We will take measures regarding this service and at least it will be excluded from our rating. Most likely, it is the delay that takes place and the claim will stimulate the administration of the exchanger to quickly resolve the problem.
  2. If you think that you really got to a scammer (the site is on our black list, there is no exchange for a long time, there is no connection with the support service or the support service answers are absolutely inadequate), then you need to act very quickly and write to the support of the payment system where you sent funds.
    The situation must be described in great detail, along with the amount, transfer id, recipient's wallet number, date and time of the transaction. It is also advisable to attach screen shots of the application, letters from the exchanger with a copy of the application data, as well as any other data that will allow the payment system support service to quickly understand the situation.
    For the Webmoney system, you need to file a claim against the recipient's WMID. Links to sections of the feedback form of some payment systems: Perfect Money, Webmoney, QIWI, Yandex Money, ADV Cash, OKPAY, W1.
    Unfortunately, cryptocurrencies do not have a support service as such.
  3. If the previous points were unsuccessful, you need to contact the law enforcement agencies.
